Brandon Farrington Looks to Cash In at Kern County Raceway

For Immediate Release: SPEARS SRL Southwest Tour Series Media

Bakersfield, CA – Brandon Farrington will head to Kern County Raceway on June 26th for the “JM Environmental Wild West Shootout – Get It Hot 75” for the Spears Srl Southwest TourSeries, looking for a big payout. One driver could take home $21,000 from a combination of the winner’s purse, lap leader bonus, and the to-the-back challenge. Farrington nearly took the challenge at the ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY – ROSEVILLE CA event, so if circumstances are right, don’t be surprised to see the Tucson, AZ driver give the extra $10,000 option a shot.

Farrington currently sits third in the Rookie-of-the-Year chase after finishes of 21st in the “Sunrise Ford All-Star Showdown 200” at Irwindale Speedway, 13th in the “Winter Showdown 150” at Kern County Raceway, seventh in the “Spears Manufacturing 100 presented by Earnest Performance” at Irwindale, 11th in the “Southwest Tour 125 presented by Senneker Performance” at The New Stockton 99 Speedway, and third in the “JM Environmental Wild West Shootout 147 presented by 51 FIFTY LTM”. Overall, Farrington sits seventh in the championship standings as his season results have shown steady improvement.

“My rookie year is going great”, Farrington exclaimed! “One of the things I was most excited for was the level of competition and the challenges that came with that (racing with the SRL). Our results haven’t been what we set out for, but I think we’re starting to get where we need to be.”

For 2021, the three-time Tucson Speedway Super Late Model Champion is teamed up with fellow Rookie-of-the-Year candidate Kole Razwith Sigma Performance Services. In 2020, Raz was finally able to wrestle the Tucson Speedway Track Championship away from Brandon, but the two have been friends since teaming up several years ago, despite the on-track rivalry.
