Buddy Shepherd looking for a win in the 34th Annual October Classic
Buddy Shepherd scored his second career Spears SRL Southwest Tour Series victory at Irwindale Speedway, in the series last event. The victory was the fourth different winner in the last four events with Jacob Gomes, Jeremy Doss, and Jace Hansen also scoring wins. Shepherd will now head to his hometrack at Kern County Raceway Park, looking for a win in the 34th Annual October Classic on October 22nd.
The Bakersfield, CA driver has five runner-up finishes at Kern, including a second to Kyle Busch in the Winter Showdown. The former Late Model Track Champion will look to end the streak of different winners and finally get a “Tour” win at the high-speed half-mile.
