FAN GUIDE October 12th Flat Track and Speedway at the Dirt Track!

This Saturday evening, October 12th, Flat Track Motorcycles and Speedway Bikes return to Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway in the 1st Annual Cory Tocco Classic.

The event is in honor and tribute of racer Cory Tocco, who passed away recently following a brave battle with Leukemia. Tocco’s father, the legendary rider Bob, along with Rod Lake and Mike Helm have partnered with the Raceway to present a night of racing and entertainment that would celebrate Cory as he would want.

Aside from the usual classes of racing, which include top Pro riders, Classic & Vintage bikes and kids divisions, all eyes will be on a special Pit Bike class with over $3,000 in prize monies on the line! To add extra spice to this class, there will a handicapping system with older riders at the front, amateurs in the middle and pro riders at the back. The bikes will also race in an opposite clockwise direction! Anyone with a pike bike and basic riding gear can enter – call the number at the bottom of this posting if you would like to race!

Pit gates and rider sign up is from 2pm. Practice laps are at 5pm, Heat races at 6 with Main events starting around 7:30pm

Admission is $25 for adults which includes pits access all night long and parking. Kids 12 and under can get in free with a paid adult from 5pm onward.
