2020 SCHEDULE: Attached is the 2020 schedule of events, which begins on Saturday, March 14th. We are building upon the successes of 2019, with our Industry Nights, Dirt and Asphalt Duel Events, a concert, our annual Fireworks Spectacular, the “October Classic” and the finale, the George Snider Classic.
OPEN PRACTICE on MARCH 7th: The Saturday March 7th Practice Day will be open to all ½ mile divisions. Pit Gates and Registration will open at 10am, with the ½ mile hot for practice from noon to 6pm. Please note: Tires and Fuel Sales will be open from 10am to 1pm. $40 pit pass available at Registration.
MARCH 14th: Kern County Raceway will kick off its 2020 season with a Dirt Track / Paved Track Double Header on March 14th, where one ticket price will get you into both race tracks, with the NARC 410 Sprint Cars headlining on the 1/3 mile dirt track, and the NASCAR Super Stocks and Modifieds headlining at the 1/2 mile paved oval. Two tracks, five race divisions, one ticket, all on the same night. (See Attached Race Schedules.)
KCRP PIT PASS PRICING FOR 2020 SEASON: Pit Pass $40 Member / $45 non-Members
PRO LATE MODELS: For 2020, Kern County Raceway has added the Pro Late Model division to its 2020 racing line up, with a rules package that serves tracks from Roseville to Irwindale, including Madera. The one area in the 2020 Pro Late Model rule book that Kern County Raceway will differ from the other tracks, is that KCRP will utilize the 602 Crate Engine. See the PLM Rules at the following link: https://www.kernraceway.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/02/2020-Pro-Late-Model-Series-Rules-Final.pdf . NOTE: KCRP is conducting a dyno test this week that would allow a stock 604, or a GM “Yellow Book” 604 rebuild to compete utilizing an All-Star Performance “Govern” restrictor that world equalize the performance numbers of the 604 to that of a the 602.
Thank you for choosing to compete at Kern County Raceway – we appreciate your support.
