POWRi BCRA MIDGETS HEADING TO KERN COUNTY THIS FRIDAY NIGHT
BELLEVILLE, ILL. (May 1, 2019) – The POWRi BCRA Lucas Oil Midget League resumes this weekend with appearances at The Dirt Track at Kern County Raceway Park on Friday, May 3 followed by a Saturday, May 4 race on the pavement at Madera Speedway.
Friday’s event at Kern County marks the second of three POWRi BCRA visits to the Bakersfield facility, the first of which was won by Chase Johnson over Jake Swanson and Maria Cofer in March.
Maria Cofer and Austin Liggett currently share the spotlight atop the point standings while Robert Dalby (-5), Shannon McQueen (-10) and Troy Morris III (-15) give chase.
On Friday at Kern County, the gates will open at 6:00 PM, hot laps at 6:00 PM, qualifying at 6:45 PM, and racing at 7:30 PM.
